As part a second year degree project I attempted to divert from traditional wildlife photography by personifying animals I found in exotic pet shops. Taking along lighting equipment and a mock studio I hoped to create entertaining yet contemplative images of animals.
This was part of a project called Charisma, which was a study on the human fascination of personifying animals (i.e. dogs in jackets, Bugs Bunny etc). The theme revolves around the idea of anthropomorphism - the attribution of human characteristics or behaviour to a god, animal or object.
More to come.
